I don't talk alot. But there seems to be one thing that I will talk about nearly nonstop, to anyone who will listen, and that is movies. I like movies. Maybe even like them as more than a friend. Like, if movies was a girl, I might even work up the courage to ask movies out on a date. To a movie.
That's all I have to qualify me to do the things you would expect a movie blogger to do. I'm not real big into all the technical movie stuff. I just like to be entertained. So there isn't going to be discussions from me about sound mixing, or the use of light and shadows, or the difference between cinematography and art direction. There's going to be some honest, and hopefully funny, movie reviews. There might be some commentary on shocking industry news. There will certainly be a lot of bickering about the deserved winners of academy awards. Bickering, because I am not doing this alone. Joining me in entertaining you is my pal, Justin. He's the kind of guy who even though he only sees like one of the oscar nominated movies, still gets more picks right in our annual contest then me, who has seen every best picture nominee the last two years. Whereas my favorite movie is the smart, hilarious, totally awesome High Fidelity, Justin's favorite movies all star Tyrannosaurus Rex... Hopefully, he will be a good yin to my movie yang. Also, he works for a major South Dakota newspaper, so that gives this blog true journalistic credentials.
